buckleysmom 45 Posted August 8, 2016 I still have 3 months to go and have lost 47 pounds. I should be thrilled but quality of life is terrible. Throwing up 3-5 times a day, weakness, little sleep. Fighting dehydration constantly. I have been in contact with doc many times over the past six weeks resulting in 3 additional meds. So now on Nexium, Reglan,Phenergan and lorazepam as needed. Seeing doc tomorrow. I really don't want early removal of the balloon as with a starting BMI of 30, it's my only option. Thoughts? Advice? Thanks !
Wayward Traveler 135 Posted August 8, 2016 @@buckleysmom - I'm so sorry to hear that ... I can't imagine. :-( It sounds like if you get the nausea in check, that will take care of the rest. Does not sound like you're lacking meds ... can it be attributed to certain foods, when you eat (ex too late in the day) or how fast you eat? Would maybe going back to all fluids help? There are some great Protein Drinks out there. Gosh ... I don't know what else to say. What kind of balloon do you have? I wonder if that makes a difference. Regardless, take care, be careful and stay in close context with your doctor - apparently someone at my doc's office got so dehydrated that she went into kidney failure before having early removal. No weight loss procedure is worth that. Best wishes for dramatic improvements soon! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
