AnaLiza 42 Posted June 13, 2016 Okay I was sleeved on June 7th, I'm on phase two of my liquid diet... But the Protein shakes or drinks aren't agreeing with me at all! I get nauseous. I have tried different brands, flavors and still can't. Has anyone else had this issue? I have always enjoyed Protein Shakes now my tummy doesn't like them... And I really need them now !! Any suggestions?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Christinamo7 4,042 Posted June 13, 2016 when you fix your Protein drinks what do you use? you may need something like fairlife milk which doesn't have lactose. perhaps that is an issue for you? not sure.
ibedebi 5 Posted June 13, 2016 Try Core Power. Its lactose free and not as heavy as some of the others.

Scotchjade 59 Posted June 14, 2016 Have you tried the shakes at different temperatures? I found that I could only tolerate mine at room temperature. Others could only tolerate them warmed like hot chocolate, etc.
krissy41 1 Posted June 14, 2016 The only ones I use are the rockin refuel. There's no after taste and the chocolate taste like chocolate milk. The vanilla is good also. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App
rubia72 200 Posted June 14, 2016 Same thing happened to me unflavored GENEPRO from GNC saved my life. I add it to a light Starbucks Frappucino I found at CVS in a 4 pack

AnaLiza 42 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) I just warmed up my Protein Shake, as for Water it has to be slightly cooler than room temperature not too hot not too cold or it comes right back out.
