Feeling Alone

Is there anyone on here that is going through gastric bypass surgery that don't have anyone to talk too. I am very depress and having a feeling of loneliness. Don't know if I can go through with it. Someone please help me and be my fruend. You can text or call me at 904-437-1637.

When are you or did you have your surgery? I haven't had surgery yet but would be more than happy to be your friend!! I'm sorry that you're feeling alone and depressed. I have not had my surgery yet. I have to be on the cpac machine for two weeks. So I hope it will be sometime in July. I will be having my surgery at St. Vincent's hospital.

I had to have a cpap machine too... I named him Horton (From Dr. Seuss's book, Horton Hears a Who! ha)

Do you have any support groups through your doctor's office that you can go to that are local? They help a lot for you to see that you're not the only person scared and worried about this.

I also found these boards to be great in helping me maneuver through some of my fears and concerns. Do you have someone that is going to be there for you after surgery? Siblings or friends that know about your surgery? This is a tough thing to go through, but so worth it if you can hang in there and get through it!
