I was wondering if any of you were able to successfully visualize your thinner self before you had the surgery or soon after surgery? 1 week pre-op and I'm struggling with what my slimmer body will look and feel like.

well at work we have this curved front pop machine, and it makes me look a lot thinner, I go and stand there sometimes

but I could not imagine how much my life would change for the better long before my appearance drastically changed.

I have an extremely hard time with this. I have been overweight since I was eight years old, so I have absolutely no clue what I will look like. The best guess I have is that I will look similar to my mom.

I was "normal size" a long time ago but I'm assuming I won't look like that after 30 years in between. I can't imagine how I'll look and feel - I'm still don't believe I'll get there.

I've always believed that if you can see it, you can be it - so I'm rattled that some days I have trouble seeing it.

One of the reasons that I had the surgery was because I had this in inner experience, this inner unfolding. It was something my subconscious may just for me. I saw myself thin, wearing red, dancing ecstatically near a smoking bonfire. I could feel my own joy. I could feel my own liberation. It was and I was, glorious! This help give me the courage to do what was necessary.
