Day three calories and protein

Recommended Posts

So today by 6pm l had two Celebrity 8 oz shakes spread over 8 hours. At six pm I felt hungry and had an eight oz. powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury shake. So in summary I have had 93 g. of Protein and 670 calories because I mix my shakes with 1% milk (100 calories per 8 oz shake).

It's been hot here today and I had 4 Poweraid 20 oz. drinks.

Summary

670 calories

93 grams of Protein

And 104 oz. of liquid counting the milk

I feel full now and do not feel like I need anything more before bed in about two hours.

Are these quantities acceptable or do I need to cut back on the 1% milk or stop the Celebrity since it contains 60 calories more than Unjury? I am three days out from surgery and almost off pain meds and starting to feel really good.

Am I exceeding a reasonable calorie limit?

I'm going to add that I feel really full now two hours after I had the last shake which I drank over one hour, much to fast. This is the first time I have felt over full since my sleeve this past Wednesday.

Guess I am learning.

Tomorrow I will do things differently.

I am on liquids. I was only on Clear Liquids the day before surgery (liquids you can see light through).

Those are awesome numbers. It's great you are able to get in so much Protein and fluids so soon. Being able to get those calories in is also very beneficial to your metabolism and energy level. And yeah, it's a learning process figuring out what it takes to feel satisfied but not too full.

Congrats!

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
