AnaLiza 42 Posted June 11, 2016 Okay so I had my surgery on Tuesday, and let me just say the first twelve hours I felt like I was going to die I was in so much pain.. But it passed now it's soreness, I was wondering how many of you feel extremely tight on the right abdomen when trying to move, sit, stand up or bend?? Like to were it almost feels like if you don't support your stomach it's going to pop open?? Cause I'm having this issue right now and it's pretty pain full and scary! Any suggestions? I have 5 incisions from having the VSG done. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

melissajoi 6 Posted June 11, 2016 I order a bariatric support belt because it hurt if I didn't support myself. As I lost weight the first 4 weeks it felt like it was pulling on the large incision. I'm 6 weeks post and do not have any more problems. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
AnaLiza 42 Posted June 11, 2016 My husband went to get me a brace, emailed my nurse she said would be fine so long as doesn't rub on my incisions I too feel the pull more so on the larger incision. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
melissajoi 6 Posted June 11, 2016 My PA told me to do whatever it takes to make me feel better without resorting to my pain meds all the time. I felt high from them. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
chycky 671 Posted June 11, 2016 Please share brands of brace that you bought or have liked. From images it is hard to imagine one that fits and doesn't hit incisions
