moniquea 15 Posted June 11, 2016 I'm 8 days out and had a stool 6 days ago so I been taking stool softener and today it worked. I'm still constipated so it was hard going to the bathroom when I was finished it seems like I was wiping infinty. can we develope some kind a leakage with are stools. Sorry I know this tmi but I want to no if this is normal and it's just because my body is ajusting or because the stool softeners. cindyw41 761 Posted June 11, 2016 Keep in mind liquid in.. liquid out. I find that it goes from one extreme to the next sometimes. You could also have overdone it with the softeners. I haven't had to take anything as of yet so I'm not familiar them. Some swear by the squatty potty stool. Luckily I haven't had any issues as of late but if it returns I'm definitely getting one Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Cocojh 62 Posted June 11, 2016 Hi Moniquea, congrats on the surgery. I have surgery on Monday and was wondering about the drainage tubes. I have read some have them and some don't. Just wondering if you have them and whether they are painful or not. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
moniquea 15 Posted June 11, 2016 Hi. I didn't have to get drainage tubes my surgeon only put them if I had risk or complications during surgery. My friend had it she said it was more uncomfortable then painful Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App

LipstickLady 25,682 Posted June 11, 2016 I'm the queen of Water poop. At three plus years out, when I gotta go, I gotta go! Probiotics help, but ask your doctor first. Flush-able wipes (found near the toilet paper) are your best friend.
