Shaunie 123 Posted July 7, 2016 Hi everyone, second night after surgery! !! I'm feeling pretty good thanks to the pain meds Coming out of surgery was a bit tough but as soon as they got the nausea & pain under control it was much better. Five incisions plus a drain that I'm very much looking forward of removal in the morning. Looking forward to going home tomorrow!!! Good luck to all July surgeries! !! Glad you are doing well Shaunie. The anesthesia did not sit well with me either. I ended up very sick and couldn't keep anything down until yesterday afternoon. Since my nausea wasn't as bad they went ahead and discharged me. I am doing ok at home, trying to get all my fluids in. Are you getting in the whole 64oz of fluids yet? I am only managing around 10oz. ???? Good luck to everyone!! Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
Shaunie 123 Posted July 9, 2016 @@CaitlinT, I'm able to get the recommended Protein down but it is a constant struggle all day. Yesterday I didn't get the 64 oz of Fluid about 40oz. I'm just not hungry! I made the mastake of getting on the scale the smorning :-D I exactly understand why the tell you not to get on the scale after surgery. I weighed more then before surgery :'( Wondering when you begin to see a # change? I understand its a process guess I'm just looking for a plus while I struggle through this liquid phase Good luck
