ACID RE-FLUX Natural Relief

Today I got the worst acid re-flux I have experienced so far. I hit the web and found I needed 1-3 tbls of Apple Cider Vinegar ( unfiltered/ organic with the mother). I too was prescribed pantoprazole every day. It worked a few days then it stopped this morning. I found a few recipes to sooth heart burn and acid re-flux naturally.

I bought the following today. Braggs ACV, aloe vera juice, powdered ginger, powder cinnamon, organic natural apple juice and lemon juice. As soon as I got in the car i added a capful of acv to my 4oz water bottle a bit of the apple juice for taste. It went to work immediately soothing my acid re-flux. it made it manageable to function and gave relief. Hints: 3 wks acid re-flux/ heartburn is better to none existence. I made another and been sipping at it since 5pm over ice.

The actual morning drink is called "happy belly". 4 oz of warm Water ( or cold) 1 tbs of aloe vera juice is the base mix. You can flavor it to taste with a tea bag, lemon juice 2 oz of apple juice, tsps of honey, pinches of cinnamon and/or ginger powder. Slice of Golden delicious apple in the water. You can add 2 tbs of ACV to unsweetened organic apple sauce quick relief. Sounds crazy but it works. The only thing it didn't fix was my arm and belly are sore, from the stress of serious re-flux. I take several meds in the morning so this will also help break them down easier. I have sipped it slowly today and it is bearable even with first tie use. Thank heavens for the WWW. Research it and there are so many ways to enjoy this happy belly base. Give it try.

Ingesting an acid (vinegar) to stop acid won't work. You will need to ingest a base which will neutralize the stomach acid. Baking soda dissolved in Water can work but it will taste nasty. It's just far easier and less expensive to simply buy over the counter medicines to treat the situation. Remember that natural doesn't always mean best, easiest or cheapest.

Apple Cider Vinegar. Not just vinegar. Yes, it does sound like that but it brings PH balance to the stomach. I stated to do your research. It worked for me. I did the happy belly drink this morning and my acid re-flux has gone away except for an occasional burp. No more gurgling and rumbling in my belly and I am not bloated anymore. To each its own. It worked for me and I am sure it will from someone else just as it might not work. Over the counter adds up to problems in time.. so I opted for natural. That's all.

People swear by it but none of the claims people make about Apple Cider Vinegar have ever been proven.

Apple cider vinegar does work. I had horrible reflux. It gave me nausea, constant burping the meds we're giving me horrible Migraines so I wanted to go natural. I ordered the apple cider vinegar pills I take 5 a day 2 in the am 2 at night. Over a month & it's been great !! Almost all the way normal. It also helps you go to the bathroom more.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
