Definitely tell them in the morning. Like daniotra said, some pain meds can cause bleeding issues. Or they may want to adjust the preanesthetic drugs they give you. Or the pain meds may be out of your system and it won't be a big deal. But your doctor took you off the meds for a reason, so definitely let them know you took some.

I wish you had called your surgeon before taking anything.

The fact that you didn't call your surgeon/nurse to check raises the question of whether you are sabotaging yourself, maybe you're not 100% mentally ready/comfortable about having the surgery tomorrow?

They might have been able to give you some surgery-compliant options for pain relief.

If you don't tell them tomorrow, you are risking your health and possibly your life. Tell them immediately, bring the bottle to show them exactly what you took.

The oral Tylenol w/ Lortab not that much. Thank you for your responses. Did not take meds that cause bleeding.

Thank you for checking they found a hernia and repaired it. Then as I came out of surgery I vomited. Blood pressure was real high. Next day was stable walking, sipping using bathroom. Home and sore getting the surgical gas out. Last day of liquid diet. Now just carrying for new pouch.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
