tlyons72 43 Posted July 7, 2016 How about...instead of a book, I bring a fashion magazine with lots of cool clothes I'll be able to wear in about 7 months? That might keep me focused and help with the pain

BrittLovesLife 68 Posted July 7, 2016 Greetings fellow sleevers - pre and post! I'm starting my list of items to pack for the hospital and thought some of you might have additional ideas. 1. myself 2. chap stick - dry lips 3. pillow - helps getting up and is a buffer between stomach and seatbelt on the ride home 4. GasX strips 5. A book Any other ideas or suggestions? I'm all ears I brought all of that including a Word search book, phone charger, an H&M catalog, headphones, and those little sugar free single packets in different flavors. I wasn't able to drink anything for 18-20 hours after surgery so make sure you bring dental hygiene to keep your mouth moist. I also brought a journal with me and wrote down all the emotions I was feeling and that really helped me.
