JupiterinVirgo 846 Posted June 8, 2016 Within a couple months of my surgery I started to notice that I wasn't sweating all the time anymore. Before, just going grocery shopping would leave me wet and sweaty. I am now six months out from surgery and I am definitely experiencing the feelings of being very cold at times, but do not seem to be directly related to the temperature or the weather. It's not all the time, but it has been happening for the last couple of months.
PayItForward 207 Posted June 8, 2016 I started feeling cold right after surgery. I think it lasted about 2 months and now I feel normal.
Renkoss 420 Posted June 8, 2016 When I had my one month check up with my surgeon, I told him about the first night home from surgery and being so cold I was chattering and shivering. He said it is normal after surgery and has a lot to do with hormones. I'm not complaining; I'd rather have to put a sweater on than not be able to take more clothes off (you get to a point where you are naked and still sweating!!!). Steph~L~16 168 Posted June 8, 2016 @@Renkoss I had never thought about the possibility of hormones affecting it! I know my hormones are all over the place right now! @@Inner Surfer Girl that makes sense too! I was cold from the day after surgery on.
