So I am scheduled for surgery on Wed 8th June. I was suppose to have been on a strict liquid diet 2 weeks prior to surgery I lasted 3 days but the headaches, nausea and stress at work got the better of me. I am planning to follow it with fidelity now, will it be enough?

The surgery might get canceled/postponed. I know of several cases in our program where surgeries have been because of it. It's not punitive...it's just that the pre-surgery diet causes your liver to shrink, which makes the surgery safer. I have no idea how I'm going to do when it's my turn. I get horrible headaches when I don't eat! Good luck!
