CelesteMarie 129 Posted June 5, 2016 I didn't do a preop but I was realistic as to what it would be like afterwards. Not sure why they don't make us do a preop here in Vegas at the surgical weight loss center, Dr. Atkinson. I modified some of things I ate like soda, caffeine, sweets, fried foods, but glad I didn't have to do only liquids. The two weeks post op was enough for me. Lol. I was 277 surgery weight. Will find out what I am on Thursday (5 weeks post op). At the one week mark check up I was 255. I doubt I lost too much more but I'm feeling great and is not about the weight as much as it is about the diabetes. Doing great in that area!
