Mamapiller 52 Posted June 4, 2016 So sick of shakes. Anyone know of any good Protein Water? Thinking 2 birds with one stone- water and protein! Sent from my KFASWI using the BariatricPal App
beyondgrief 93 Posted June 4, 2016 Isopure is an acquired taste to me. Atkins just came out w one called Lift but haven't had it. Working beyond grief for a better life!
Sophie74656 1,572 Posted June 4, 2016 Isopure was terrible for me but a lot of people like it. In the store here there are some mixes that look more like a juice than a shake like this one https://store.bariatricpal.com/collections/fruit-drinks/products/bariatricpal-15g-protein-fruit-concentrates-mixed-berry
Mamapiller 52 Posted June 4, 2016 Isopure is an acquired taste to me. Atkins just came out w one called Lift but haven't had it. Working beyond grief for a better life! Thanks! I have tried Atkins Lift. I can only handle the mixed berry flavor in small doses, can't do any of the other flavors. 1Cor2:9 193 Posted June 4, 2016 Due to some digestive issues I have been taking Fiber in Water and then I add a scoop of unflavored Protein powder. I mention this because the Fiber adds a slight orange flavor. Not that I am suggesting that you have an issue with digestion, but what if you were to take one scoop of Protein Powder add with Water and then squeeze a little lime or lemon juice into the mixture? Mamapiller 52 Posted June 5, 2016 Thanks everyone. I got some protein2o at Vitamin World and I'm planning on giving that a shot. I also plan to check out the other options listed here. Wish me luck! Sent from my KFASWI using the BariatricPal App
Read2016 658 Posted June 5, 2016 Another idea might be to infuse Water with cucumber etc.. And add unflavored Protein... "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them" Einstein
Sleeve it to Beaver 187 Posted June 5, 2016 nectar is 100 cal but can be mixed with Water. Fuzzy Navel or grapefruit might be refreshing. And always a yes to infusing water! Sent from my iPhone
ButterflySeoul 98 Posted June 6, 2016 I've been adding a scoop of vanilla or chocolate Protein powder (I use unjury) to a slightly cooled off large cup of Water with sugar free maxwell house mocha cafe (their version of general food's international coffee).. that's been getting me through the morning and helping to get in a lot more water! leebick 448 Posted June 11, 2016 I was going to mention Syntrax Nectar. They make lots of fruit flavors- grape, iced tea, cherry, apple, fruit punch, lemonade, grapefruit, to name a few, that are best when mixed with Water, all 100 calories of isolated whey Protein. Go to Sio3.com and run your mouse over the upper right quadrant (says monthly special or something like that). The screen will clear and give you the phone number to call and order a sampler pack. They send you individual shake-size samples of all 15 flavors they make, for $16.99 (that includes shipping). It's one pack per customer, but it's a great way to discover which flavors you like. They ship pretty quickly, too. I order my 2.2lb containers through Vitamin World for about $34 plus shipping/handling.
