brittanylau 42 Posted June 4, 2016 Just threw up my first meal bc I ate wayyyyyyy too fast! Is this problem happening with anyone else? Or does anyone have anything they do to slow themselves down? I was so use to shoveling food in before not worrying and right now I'm paying for it! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
NeedaBreak4Me 1,755 Posted June 4, 2016 I have done this... i was in back to back meetings one day.. and hadn't eaten for a long while... when i finally ate... it got stuck nd slimey and out it came l... I find that i slow down when remind myself that if i eat too quick... i will throw up. . That normally helps me. Try to concentrate on chewing your bite a set number of times.. and then putting your utensils down between bites..
Sophie74656 1,572 Posted June 4, 2016 yep eating too fast still makes me throw up post op. Eating slow is still something I struggle with. I try to put my fork down between bites and count to 10, or do something else while I eat like read if I'm eating alone. Finish a page, take a bite
KristenLe 5,979 Posted June 4, 2016 I've seen people recommend using baby utensils.
