anonemouse 1 Posted September 23, 2007 It's getting pretty bad here at LBT. I see so many posts that make it obvious they have not read any part of the board that they should have read before surgery. I read every bit of information I could read before I had surgery, so I would know what to expect. You would think people would do that before they had life altering surgery. What really bothers me is when people post proudly that they just had a fill and can't eat more than a tablespoon at one sitting without PBing or barfing. Or when people complain that they are too loose because they can eat a whole 1/4 cup of food. Even I, as a newby bandster, know that you should be able to eat at least that much at one sitting, if not more.
WASaBubbleButt 41 Posted September 23, 2007 Hey Wendell... Are you paying attention to topics on this section of the board? :car:
anonemouse 1 Posted September 23, 2007 When I was on obesityhelp.com I used to post a very long post that I had saved on my computer. I named the post "Lap-Band 101". That one post answered the 50 most common questions that new people have. Well, wouldn't you know that people on that website complained to the administrators that I posted it too many times. Yet another reason that I like LBT. If you haven't posted it here, you need to. I loved that post. It really did a great job at answering all of the questions that newbies SHOULD be asking. Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted September 23, 2007 Yes Wendall, post it here. I am sure it would be a great help to everyone. It should be listed as a must read for someone considering lap band surgery, or who just had surgery.
green 6 Posted September 23, 2007 Do post it, Wendell. Maybe one of the moderators will make it into a sticky post. That way it wouldn't have to be bumped. It would always be available for the newbies to read.
