raec81 18 Posted June 3, 2016 I will be 27 weeks pregnant at my next OB appointment. They also have me scheduled for my glucose test. I want to hide. Those of you that have had it post surgery how did it go? At this point I'm not concerned about being able to drink it fast enough, my concern is how is it going to make my body feel. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

The woman mentioned me needing to come back to do it again or do the longer one and I said no thank you. I spoke with the OB and he had me monitor my sugar for a week 2 times a day opposed to trying to do that test again since I knew there was no way it would ever stay down. I I hope it goes well for you!! I know some people are able to do it... my son just didn't like me to have anything sweet.. I couldn't even have chocolate while pregnant lol

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App My OB came up with a alternate option since I am really struggling with even drinking Water.I am doing 2 weeks of recording my blood sugars 4-5 times a day. First thing in the morning before eating, and then 2 hours post anything I would consider a meal. I hate pricking myself but I knew I would not tolerate that drink at all.
