I did it one day post-op

Had my surgery yesterday at 9am (Aug. 15). Feeling pretty good so far. I drank an 8 oz Protein Shake it took a while, but I finished it. My Dr. said I could go straight to full liquids. I still plan to be very careful. It feels like I have to burp all of the time. I fear I will not be able to get in all of the food they want me to eat, I feel full. I lost 8 Lbs. on the pre-op diet and the Dr. said my liver looked fine. He even gave me a picture of my liver and the band. Probably too much information for most people. Well I need to rest hope everyone is doing well.

Congrats...you are well on your way. I am 15 days post op and have lost 17 lbs since surgery day. I still have no regrets and wake up every morning with a new outlook on life. You are doing a very brave and unselfish thing for your children. I am very proud of you. This next few days your emotions will be all over the board, be prepared. Every moment gets better. Just remember... you will never look or feel like you did yesterday. It only gets better!!!!!!!!!!!!!:whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:
