jintycb 721 Posted June 14, 2016 @@Cowgirl Jane. Yep, it is a Scottish expression and us haggis bashers use it frequently to describe any irritating child (or even adult, but childish, person). It makes me laugh when I use it within hearing range of a yummy mummy, who thinks the sun shines out of her little darling's rear, and is letting said little darling run amok, causing chaos in a public place. Mummy always smiles beatifically thinking I'm complimenting the brat. I allow myself a gentle Mona Lisa type grin of self satisfaction!!!!!

Julie norton 2,850 Posted June 18, 2016 It may seem minor, but when I am at a concert, my peeve is the people that yell over the musician to chat about inane things. I seem to be located near them a lot. Had a fabulous time seeing Steely Dan Thursday, however Chatty Cathy next to me talked and called people on her phone. And yelled to them over the music. Sigh. She did move eventually. I was so happy to listen in peace and dance !!
Clementine Sky 708 Posted June 18, 2016 My rant is when people go to a concert but watch it through their phones instead of just taking in the experience. It blocks the view and is distracting.
