eclecticwingtips 130 Posted June 9, 2016 Try pureed cauliflower, you can add Protein powder to it or ricotta cheese to bulk up the nutrients Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
Polara 66 Posted June 10, 2016 Everyone loses weight at a different rate...and honestly, I think you are doing AMAZING! My surgeon told me to think of things this way: "Inch by inch, it's a cinch, yard by yard, it's hard." Take things slowly, keep sticking to the plan your surgeon gave you, and you'll definitely get there! Have you tried keeping measurements? Sometimes even when you're not losing numbers on the scale, you will end up losing inches. That kept me going through the stalls!
JohnGraySmiley 88 Posted June 10, 2016 Thanks so much everyone for your responses. My 4 week post-op appointment was yesterday and I am down 18 lbs. The goal was 18% body fat gone and I was at 17%. I'm thankful, I was just very confused at the stall last week. Have an amazing Friday! ???? Sent from my Z936L using the BariatricPal App
SusanB55 89 Posted June 13, 2016 OMG. Seriously???? Try following the diet perfectly, getting all your Water and Protein goals in and only losing 13 lbs in 5 (FIVE) weeks. That's me. I'm so depressed. Something must be wrong with my sleeve.

Something must be wrong with my sleeve. I could have written this exact post. I've lost 13 pounds too. It's so frustrating but I've discovered I can't compare myself to anyone else and if I'm doing everything right the weight will eventually come off. Kindle 8,667 Posted June 15, 2016 OMG. Seriously???? Try following the diet perfectly, getting all your Water and Protein goals in and only losing 13 lbs in 5 (FIVE) weeks. That's me. I'm so depressed. Something must be wrong with my sleeve. I had lost 17 pounds in 12 weeks (also following my plan perfectly) I'm now sitting 12 pounds below goal and have been for over 1 1/2 years. The rate that you lose has absolutely nothing to do with your ultimate success. Just stick on plan, sit back and enjoy the NSVs. And stay off the scale if it upsets you so much. It's so depressing thinking of how much money, time, and pain I spent for this tiny amount of weight loss.

CelesteMarie 129 Posted June 15, 2016 I simply don't weigh. At my one month check up I was down 29 pounds from 277 to 248. I won't get on another scale until my next doctor appointment. scales can be the enemy if you rate your success that way. To each his own I guess. I love not worrying about weight day to day. Then I become pleasantly surprised at weigh in, or not. Lol Good things come to good people.

I stepped on the scale at the doctors office like 4 times in the first 3 month. But I sure wish I had a dollar for every post that gets made about "not losing fast enough"
