Proud2BMe 1,016 Posted May 27, 2016 Nope. I could barely sip Water just 2 days out. Let me guess, you didn't have to do a pre-op diet, did you?

Christinamo7 4,042 Posted May 27, 2016 well by about 5 days in I was. my swelling in my stomach went down quickly. and I was hungry, which I would guess was due to hormone still in my system. but know that it is probably the hardest part of the process. once you are on soft foods it gets so much easier from that standpoint. let us know how you are doing! I was the same way at about that point. But I am not sure if it was physical hunger or if it was all in my head. At the point it had been over a week since I had eaten and my head as freaking out. That feeling left after a few days and the struggle with food began. Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App

You don't want go through all of this work for nothing. Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App

sean72977 43 Posted May 27, 2016 Also with the shakes, how can you make them not so frothy? I hate it. Don't mind thin. But the thick frothy is gross. Can't figure how to blend them without all the froth. Yuck Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
Christinamo7 4,042 Posted May 27, 2016 I just make sure I am blending mine on low speed, it doesn't take much to mix it. if I overmix it then I have froth.

Should I change my ratio? Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
Christinamo7 4,042 Posted May 27, 2016 well, I don't know. what does the package say? I use about a cup and a half of milk and one scoop of powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury in mine - but I suppose some of that has to do with how much milk you want and how much flavor of the Protein powder. I'd prefer more milk but don't want to over due it Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

I use a shaker bottle instead of a blender for that very reason!!! Try one of those or just stirring rapidly with a spoon. Sometimes the spoon can leave it a bit gritty but I prefer gritty over frothy!
