Called BC/BS today and they said they received all my info for surgery on yesterday and it is pending. I'm praying for approval so I can get my surgery. I'm ready for the new lifestyle!

I have bcbsil and my approval was really fast. Even though they state 10 business days but it took only 3 days.

Thanks Pammieanne! The anticipation and waiting has me at full blown anxiety. I think approval for surgery should be automatic once we fulfil all the requirements

I can ditto the above! They had my file on Monday, I called Tuesday to make certain they received it and was told it was already approved! BCBS IL rocked in that sense! Good luck!

Just got off the phone with BC/BS. I GOT APPROVED!!!!! I'm at work with the biggest smile. My surgery date is June 24th!!!
