ZillyNa 16 Posted May 25, 2016 Hi guys. I'm already in my bed in the hospital room. They gave me just a cup of tea for dinner, instead of the watery Soup I believed to have. OK, I can handle it. My real problem is the rising of the hidden anxiety. Laying in a bed doing nothing, waiting for tomorrow is awful. And I also scared they can switch me with the other girl in the room, because we look similar. She is listed for a bypass, surgery that I don't want. Fondamentally I'm in the sea of doubts now.... KristenLe 5,979 Posted May 25, 2016 @@ZillyNa Here in the States, they are very careful to select the correct patient and the correct procedure. They should ask you several times for your name and DOB and what procedure you are having - they should also check the information with your hospital Bracelet (assuming you have one). If they don't - ask them - several times if you need to feel comfortable. In terms of being nervous, can they give you something to relax you? Don't hesitate to ask for something. Good luck and many prayers!
