I had my surgery 13 months ago and went from 350 to 230. I have been stuck for months at 230. It doesn't matter what I eat and what I do I absolutely cannot go past 230. I walk 2 miles a day, still getting all my protien in and I average about 750 calories a day. Can someone PLEASE help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You may need more calories. 750 seems low. How much Protein? What about fluids? Congrats on your amazing success so far!

I get over 70 grams of Protein a day. I drink a premier Protein shake faithfully every morning. At 10 I eat a protien bar. Those 2 alone are 45 grams. lunch is either tuna or chicken or a low calorie Soup and supper is ALWAYS chicken breast which is 30 more grams. What is the average calorie intake I need at 13 months out. I never have been above a thousand

750 calories is very low. You say it doesn't matter what you eat and what you do so it sounds like you may have tried some different things. Have you tried upping your Protein? Upping your calories? Upping your Water?

Are you tracking your food?

How much Protein are you getting in?

Are you eating protein first?

Are you eating frequent small protein-based meals and Snacks?

Are you avoiding starches, added sugars (especially high fructose corn syrup), and fried foods?

Are you eating healthy carbs?

Are you eating healthy fats?

Have you tried doing some different exercise? Weights/resistance training? Swimming? Yoga? A dance class?

Are you eating mindfully? Taking small bites, eating slowly, and chewing thoroughly?

Have you talked with your NUT about your concerns? What does he or she suggest?

The obvious thing to me is that you should increase your calories (and possibly your protein depending on how much you are eating).

At 13 months out you should be getting most of your protein from food.

I would agree, bump up the calories. If you don't want to jump up too far, try 1000 for a month and see what it does. I would recommend hiding the scale and not checking it until he end of the month so the bumps while your body adjusts don't scare you off. If things are ok then you can think about bumping up another 1-200 after.

Ok. I tracked my food intake today. I ate every two hours. All I got in was 855 calories. I had a shake, a Protein bar, a rice cake, some tuna and crackers, a salad and chicken breast. How do I increase it. I ate my butt off and only increased it by 100 calories. My total carbs were 42 and my Protein was 74

You could add avocado to your tuna and/or salad.< /p>

You could add cheese. (Just about everything tastes better with melted cheese!)

You could add a snack of Greek yogurt.

Instead of a rice cake you could eat turkey, cheese, some nuts, or other similar protein.

Or, put some Peanut Butter on your rice cake. (A good practice is to make sure to eat protein with your carbs.)

Or, put Peanut Butter on a piece of fruit.< /p>

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
