Just got my date today. August 22.... My family was supposed to be away for my husband's 50th that week so I am trying to see if they can make it earlier - but at this point even if I miss the family vacation I'll be doing this thing

Congrats!!!! Way to go. I asked to be on the cancellation list, so if anyone from my surgeons office cancelled I could move my date up! No luck so far.

I'm an August sleever, and I'm having mine done in the DFW area too! My date is scheduled for August 8th and it will be at Baylor of Plano with Dr. Nick Nicholson. If you don't mind me asking, who is your doctor? I'm excited and I am excited for you as well!!! We'll have to keep in touch on each other's progress....Good luck to you

I am scheduled for surgery on August 16th. I feel like my insurance works backwards. I have to chose the surgeon, get all the tests and appointments, get a date, and then they review the claim for approval. They just spent 7k on a whole bunch of appointments.

@@Hotmama@48 My surgeon is Dr. Kim at Kim Bariatrics. He has an office in Colleyville and Frisco. My surgery will be in Frisco. Im excited to get this whole process started! Good luck to you too!
