Nothing to kill self esteem like a mirror

Recommended Posts

So I generally I only stand in front of the mirror with clothes on. Today I went shopping so at one point I was in from of a mirror in just my undies. Yeah, that will hurt your self esteem a bit. I look much better with clothes on and from my head down point of view.

Oh well its a process, things will get smaller, things may get saggier, but that's what Spanx is for right?

Saggy skin won't give you diabetes, a stroke, heart attack, hypertension, GERD, gall stones, achy joints.....

You're doing great!

find reasons to be proud of your body!

for me, I have been through a lot of struggles in this old body. I have made some incredible human beings. I want to be my best me possible, but I am not a spring chicken, and I don't expect to look like it. I'll settle for not ending up looking like an elephant (with skin 5 sizes too big) when I'm done.

and if my naked body offends anyone they don't need to be looking, lol.

Target kills me with their mirrors. Full back and front visual of all of my mostly-naked self. Things do improve though...

I actually had a positive mirror experience today! I generally stand in front of my bathroom mirror and only see myself from the waist up. My belly is the LAST place to lose weight (and of course the part that needs it the most).

I am currently traveling for work. There is a large full length mirror in the bedroom of my hotel. I got dressed this AM and as I was buttoning up my shirt, I sort of slid sideways in front of this mirror and thought "holy crap, where is the rest of me". Kind of surprised myself.
