I'm having trouble with Vitamins also. They make me so nauseous.

@@Sugary Sweetheart I used Wellesse liquid Vitamins (double dose, one in the morning and one at night) and did great on them. I bought mine on Amazon.< /p>

Does anyone have ideas for liquid vitamins?

Walgreens and Centrum are the best liquid one's. Walgreens had a buy one get one free.

The same thing happened to me and a nurse told me about this one. It is small and did not make me sick. I think I got mine at Walgreens. After about 3 months, I was able to tolerate the large "complete" ones. Hope this helps!

I use Bariatric Advantage Multi Vitamin but the berry one. I didn't like the orange one. They are huge so I cut them into 4's. You have to take 2 of these chewable tablets/day.

I buy my Bariatric Advantage Calcium from Amazon. If you like Caramel, you'll love these. They are so good!

Gummy women's one a day are awesome

Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

My NUT told us no gummies. Which stinks cause that's what I take now. Guess it's the added sugar in them. They recommend Flinstones....2 a day.

Per my Nut and Surgeon, the gummies do not absorb as well as the chewables, melt aways and liquids. I finished out my gummies and went to what they recommended.

But every program is different and has their own recommendation and thoughts of Vitamins and what not

Ditto on gummies from my nut. The bariatric ad chewable tabs are made by the devil. They are uber gross. The chewable Bari adv that are like a candy are good. I worry they may be hard to swallow post surgery. I will miss gummies. Will look at flintstones. I got a dissolving Biotin from costco that tasted fine, liquid Vitamin D from whole foods (blue bonnet brand can buy on Amazon). I also got a blue bonnet liquid Calcium from whole foods but have not tried yet.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
