Tommy Joe 113 Posted May 24, 2016 Mr. Bear, if a post bothers you move on. If you don't like the thread stop reading. Judging and shaming is unwelcome behavior here. I've found that rational people without a sense of humor usually don't like me and that's fine. Go off by yourself and be superior, or as my idol Joan Crawford said at a Pepsi Board meeting, "Don't try to f$$$ with us fella."

165B445 188 Posted May 25, 2016 sometimes I say to people "surely you did not mean that to sound as rude as it did?" "or do you realize you said that out loud?" but most of the time those comments are related to someone who has said something truly tasteless in front of my son who has a disability........... you just can't imagine the things that come out of people's mouths. Actually thats a tactful way of pointing out rudeness.... I just might use that one.... I usually am gobsmacked and say nothing or i fly off the handle.. lol No medium for me... i am one for extremes lol.... Even with my weight... im either really fat or really skinny hahahaha I either eat the whole bag or dont have any at all. All or nothing... i really should learn how to control that lol probably what got me here initially lol Yeah... I'm also zero to 100 in a flash... no middle ground, I fly off very quick...so i REALLY think about consequences... so a plate of Cookies shoved in the face is a non felony .... smg 471 Posted May 25, 2016 Assault is a perfectly acceptable response to an unkind word in these forums? How childish. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. " Are you taking what we say as literal?I've found that people who make irrational statements tend to be irrational. And irrational people tend to behave irrationally as well. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. " Did you ever consider the fact that because people have the opportunity to vent on here is part of the reason he wasn't actually punched in the face? Hard to believe you defend the guy who directly insults someone with blatant disregard for their feelings....but somehow the "irrational statement" is what you choose to cling to....how ironic. Fredbear 397 Posted May 25, 2016 *shrug* I'm not defending anyone, and it doesn't really matter what the jerk said. But if you're going to ignore the fact that her gut reaction to adversity is to assault someone, I don't really have much to say. Such a reaction simply shows a lack of adult coping ability, and it's a bit alarming of the amount of enabling here. But, whatever. No point in reading any further... the defensive hackles are raised and no real discussion can happen. Bye, Felicia! "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. NeedaBreak4Me 1,755 Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) Whoa there Fredbear ....... excuse me.... you have directly insulted me 3 times now... You do realise that verbal abuse is just as bad as physical abuse right?? You need to lighten up dude... not everyone here is as serious as you.. and like @@smg said.. the reason i didnt lose control is because i can come on here and vent. If i want to imagine punching him in the face... who are you... the thoughts police?? @@Fredbear Did your mummy or daddy hurt you? Is that why you feel the need to abuse everyone to make yourself feel better? Is this why you feel the need to control everyone and everything? Small man syndrome? CHM 1,009 Posted May 25, 2016 I'm with @ and @@LipstickLady ...you can think whatever you want. Your thoughts are not only entirely your own, but they are quite often beyond your control. What matters is what you do. Do you voice them? Act on them? I haven't a violent bone in my body. I've never hit nor been hit. Everyone who knows me personally would describe me and very polite, accommodating, and passive. But let me tell you, I have had thoughts of absolutely murdering people on some occasions. I am not immature. I am not irrational. My inside thoughts do not dictate who I am. Nor do anyone else's dictate who they are.
