Being exhausted can be a sign of low blood sugar. I was diabetic prior to surgery. If I had not come off all my diabetic meds after surgery, these meds could have forced my blood sugar to go towards the low side.

For the first month after surgery, your body is in a major heal mode. That might cause the exhaustion. Some meds may cause these symptoms. There is also a condition called reactive hypoglycemia that some people who underwent WLS encounter. But at 2 weeks, I think this is too soon for that condition.

even when I got in all my Water, Vitamins, and Protein, I was still exhausted for the first 6 months post op. It really sucked, and I worried that I would feel like that forever. Now, at 9 months post op, I feel great! I feel like myself again. Like @@KristenLe said, if you're doing everything right, probably there is only time that can resolve this. Hang in there, it gets better. :)

I did not experience this, but it could also be a sign of anemia, or low Iron.

My 2nd through 3rd week was rough! I was more tired and more nauseas. I think it is something about that magical 3rd week (my 3rd week after my hysterectomy was awful too!) And just a heads up if you haven't read it yet, there is a very infamous 3 week stall for most people, so stay off the scale or at least don't panic!

From my experience I can say it could be low iron/ anemia.

I was slightly anemic after surgery. I am 6 weeks post up and each week I just feel worse more tired, lazy, a bit light headed at times even if i'm doing fine with Protein, Water, and Vitamins. I have my 6 weeks post up this Thursday and will ask my surgeon to do blood work just incase.

If you keep feeling like that I suggest you do the same. It's better to be precocious ????
