Margie122 845 Posted May 20, 2016 BIDMC (Beth Israel...) is where I originally started my weight loss journey back in 2009...I was scheduled to have the lap-band but my insurance company denied the surgery the day before it was scheduled. Fast forward to 2015 I have new insurance and ended up having the surgery done at Steward - St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton and had the VSG......everything happens for a reason! BIDMC has a good program I'm sure. I can also attest to the great crew at St. E's....and at Mt. Auburn in Cambridge as my mom had her surgery there. I really do live in a great part of the country for health care options.
