Hi all. Have any of you tried the b up bars? I just started eating Quest bars to get some Fiber in and like what I have had. I am having awful (and I mean awful) Constipation. I read that the b up have 20 g of fiber and 20g of Protein. 7 g fat. I would probably start with 1/3 of a bar. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated. Are they tasty? Nasty? Any other "asty" I should be aware of?

Have a great day!!

I tried one of these last week in an emergency, I was out shopping too long and I was starving. It was okay. I was really hungry and it was just okay, so that means it probably isn't that good.

The best bars I have tried so far are Oh Yeah One Bars. The birthday cake and lemon are amazing.

If you're looking to up your Fiber because of Constipation, consider increasing your insoluble fiber. The fiber in the Protein bars and gummies and Benefiber, etc is soluble fiber. And while soluble fiber will bulk up your stool, it can also slow down your GI track and make constipation worse. Wheat bran, linseed, cocoa powder, flax seed, Apple pectin fiber, and certain cereals (All Bran, Kashi Go Lean) are just some things that contain good amounts of insoluble fiber.

Other things you can try are Miralax, Smooth Move tea, colace, and what always worked for me ....milk of magnesia. But once I increased my insoluble fiber I haven't had to take any.

It's all a matter of personal taste/preference. I like the B up bars fine, but I like Quest bars better and then the Power Crunch ones, and I don't like the Oh Yeah or Premier ones and they are popular among people on here. Texture wise they are closer to the quest bars than they are to anything else.
