Hi how's every doing? I was sleeved on the 11th May, loss so far 19lbs! Have another two weeks on a liquid diet and need some ideas to get me through to the puréed stage. I've tried the odd mouthful of mash and spaghetti hoops but I really don't want to push myself too far! Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Managing to hit Protein and Water goals by adding Protein Shots to SF Apple squash so not hungry just bored of the limited choices :-(

I have been eating cottage cheese with puréed pineapple chunks or peaches. Hot oat bran farina like Cereal. White fish baked in orange juice. Mashed potatoe. A ricotta bake recipe from [http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/?m=1]. The eggface site has other good ideas.

I was sleeved 5/10. I'm down 21 pounds including the 1 week pre-op diet. SW 250 CW 229. Weight loss has been stalled for about 10 days.

Everything has gone very smoothly. I'm still hungry at times though. Anyone else waking up during the night hungry?

Per doctors orders I'm drinking 2 Protein shakes a day plus four "meals" a day. The foods allowed right now are Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, 2% cheese and nut butter. I can also have no more than 2oz of oatmeal, grits, mashed potatoes or saltine crackers each day which I try to avoid. I usually get in about 110 grams of Protein and about 1000 calories. Seems like a lot but I handle it well.

Walking 30 minutes a day.

@@jackiery, ah yes the burping! Anything that goes into my mouth food or liquid is followed by a symphony of Homer Simpson style burping! I repulse myself but I'm also embracing it....if I go out in public I never leave the house without my Gas X strips. I have Gas X in many forms all over the house and in every purse or car[emoji40]

Hi guys! I'm dealing with horrible constipation! I take 2 stool softeners a day, and just recently added Muralax. Anyone else experiencing this, or still taking stool softener after 3 weeks?

Erika F. Sleeved 6/6/16

I have the same issue. I probably still do but I have started taking two tablespoons of Milk of Magnesia every couple of days and that seems to be doing the trick. its miserable so good luck. I hope that helps.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
