@@Dejaalex You really need to increase your fluids even if you aren't hungry or feel like drinking. I'm sure this is why you don't feel well. Skip the Apple sauce (too many carbs) and have fluids. Try broth, tea, sugar free popsicles, crystal light, Water flavors with electrolytes. It doesn't have to be plain water. Hope you feel better soon.

Sleeved may 10th and today has been my hardest day. I can only get down 4 ounces of a Protein shake and I'm stuffed for the day. Idk what to do anymore, I sip on Water and Powerade zero throughout the day but I don't know how to reach anywhere near my Protein goals

I was sleeved 5/10 and am down 15 lbs (start 200); I am getting Protein in by shakes, adding unflavored Protein Powder into sugar free Jello, and also adding it to cream Soup. I've been getting 60 or right at it that way. I have had bad diarrhea for two days and horrible gas....other than that I feel pretty great!

I've heard of Vitamin B12 shots but have never gotten one. Sound I ask my Dr about that?

@@Sharont Have you tried different temps of fluids to see if that helps. Try broth, sugar free popsicles, sugar free Jello, add flavors to your water.Congrats on the loss so far!

Thx KristenLe for the suggestions. I will try those.

I was sleeved May 11th. I can get my fluids and Protein in but really just had some creamed Soup today. I do not like Isopure but it is so high in Protein so I mix it with Raspberry Ice to mask the taste.

I was sleeved on May 9th. During pre op diet I lost 10lbs, and since surgery I lost another 9. The scale has been reading the same weight for the last 4 days though, it's getting frustrating. I'm doing my best to get in all my Water and Protein, but I've only hit my Protein goal 100% two days so far. I keep on trying!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
