Why can't I reply to posts from the app?

Recommended Posts

Am I missing something? I am logged in and can like, but I have to click web view for a reply option.

Help! I haven't posted in like weeks because I can't figure t out and don't like the web view on my phone--too tiny!

I thought I was pretty tech savvy but I'm flummoxed

Not sure what kind of phone you have but my iPhone has a "reply" bar at the bottom of the thread. Similar to if I was sending text messages.

I'm on an iPhone too! And it only has -end- at the end (see screen cap photo). The web version on Safari has the reply bar, just not the app.

@@Inner Surfer Girl explained it better than I did, but that's exactly how mine is too. Hopefully her explanation helps.

That's crazy! Mine doesn't. There's nothing below that end word on mine at all! I thought maybe I wasn't logged in or something, but I can "like" posts so I must be, right?

If it's letting you "like" post, I would say you are logged in. Have you tried deleting, then reloading the app?

Okay that's so weird... I logged out and then all of a sudden the reply bar was there, logged back in and it stayed. Well whatever it was, thanks for talking me through it so I could see it was something amiss rather than something I just couldn't figure out!

You're not missing anything. The app is bugging out on you. When I first opened it this morning on my iPhone it was doing the same thing. It also didn't have the option to quote when tapping on someone else's post.

I just restarted the app - closed it out completely and reloaded it - then it was fully functional again. Give that a try.

Thanks all, yes I logged out and then back in and now it works. Just restarting the app wasn't doing it for me, but that did! Appreciate your help!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
