@@NoMoBand Thank you, I'm going to the gym 4 times weekly. Light weight and a lot of repetition. And you?

I'm going to gym 6 days a week doing 1/2 hour on light weights working the legs, chest, bicep, triceps, back and doing 4 reps of 20 each. Then 20 minutes stationary bike, a 20 minute treadmill run then 45 minute arch trainer performing intervals. I'm killing myself! I've lost 140 pounds, but, have hit a 2 year stall. I don't give up because my clothing fit better as ever. I can get into some 32 waist pants. Heck, before weight loss surgery, I started out wearing a 46 waist. I was a big guy!

I think my age has a lot to do with the weight loss halt, but, that's ok.

You on the other hand have done an incredible job in such a short amount of time. I don't recall seeing such a quick transformation as quickly as yours. That's why I knew you were hitting the gym. You look awesome! You are definitely an inspiration. Way to go! jake

You look amazing! Inspirational! Thanks for sharing! May I ask - how is the excess skin? Do you have any? You look fabulously tight in the photo. But is my only concern (for myself).

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
