LoveMyBypass 251 Posted August 27, 2016 Hmm.. that's good to know.. I'll just keep avoiding it. I don't like beer or wine.. I only drink shots of liquor to get drunk. But I don't miss it, so I'll just wait.. thank you for the information. By the way, I'm only 2.4 pounds away from JUST being over weight!!! No more being obese for me!!! Yey!! Just a little...not at all what I was expecting. It was only one glass but I thought I would get a buzz from that. summerset 5,265 Posted August 31, 2016 How are you all doing? I still feel low in energy on stressful days. Anyone doing physical labor for a living? Or being up on the feet quite a bit during the workday? Today we did an angioplasty with thrombectomy that lasted about 2.5 h - wore full gear with the heavy x-ray protection coat and all of course. I felt like "I need to drink, then I need to eat and then I need to sit down for half an hour". Blah.

LoveMyBypass 251 Posted August 31, 2016 I work physical labor. I'm on my feet 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I am expected to lift up to 75 pounds or I am considered unable to fulfill my regular duties. With that being said, I feel fantastic! I'm finally JUST overweight. I'm not obese anymore. My BMI is 29.8.. My health is good. My doctor isn't too worried about me anymore like when I was dehydrated. On a very good note, I am finally confident enough to go on a date. We are going on our first date this Sunday. Wish me luck!!

summerset 5,265 Posted September 1, 2016 @@yescres07 My last labs were good. My next follow-up appointment is in October. Maybe I'm just in need of a vacation. (only one working day until vacation, yay!) @@LoveMyBypass Maybe it's me being dehydrated. Sometimes you sweat like a pig beneath all that gear.

Pup 217 Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) I'm doing great.....down 50lbs since surgery..... could be more if I would excersise but, honestly I was ok with it slowing down just a little. Bought a size 6 pair of shorts the other day and I was almost giddy walking through the store. I've started going out more and feel great!!!! I'm soooooooo happy I chose to have gastric bypass, I feel like I'm really living again. I admit, I worry how I will do a year out, 5 years out and so on..... I will have to get an excersise routine in place. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App Edited September 15, 2016 by Pup
