summerset 5,265 Posted October 5, 2016 Doing ok so far. Had some problems with diarrhea for about two to three weeks. Why? No idea. It went away eventually. Regarding going to the potty I'm still not used to the lighter color of the bowel movements though. Energy seems to be coming back slowly.
Pup 217 Posted October 5, 2016 So month 4 and I am down 60lbs! Unfortunately I now need to get my gallbladder out. Seems I can't catch a break! Although skinny is feeling sooo good! How is everyone else doing? It's been a while since I've been on here. I hear the gallbladder giving you trouble after was is common. Did you doc put you on gallbladder medication immediately after surgery? I'm doing great!!! I love to shop now....it's just an unbelievable feeling to put on cloths and still need comfortable. I'm down 55 since surgery. I have tons of energy. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

I'm sad about that. I'm sure they have checked your blood work and you're still sticking to your Protein intake. Are you possibly just simply not getting to bed early enough? Do you have sleep apnea? Wait, WHAT???? 88 lbs???? That's fantastic!!! I bet your cloths are falling off. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

Lindsey Skinner Abbott 97 Posted October 7, 2016 My energy level has been so food! I don't need naps anymore! Now I do still require 7-8 hours of sleep each night but I am able to make it through the day without feeling so drained.

summerset 5,265 Posted October 13, 2016 Damn, I'm noticing some reflux again... By far not as bad as it was before surgery but still. I had my follow-up appointment on Monday and told the team. They said I should find out if the reflux is triggered by certain behavior since it's not bothering me every day (e. g. eating too late or certain foods) and then to make an appointment for a gastroscopy to take a look at things. Since I also had hernia repair there might be a problem with that again. I have to admit I'm quite a bit scared and I'm thinking about possible catastrophes a good deal since a few days. (Yes, admittedly I'm one of these people who can catastrophize things up to esophageal cancer.) Dammit...
Lindsey Skinner Abbott 97 Posted October 13, 2016 @@summerset did you get a hernia repair? I had horrible Gerd prior to surgery not even a slight sing of heartburn since. My husband catastrophizes everything! Are you taking anything daily for Gerd? I have but he told me I have to stay on the meds because of ulcers.
