Lindsey Skinner Abbott 97 Posted June 7, 2016 @yescres07...I have two blood clots possibly a third in my lungs???? I am being admitted now. I am sad but thankfully I came into the hospital instead of waiting to long. This sucks but at least it is not a leak.
macdonaldkelly 33 Posted June 7, 2016 I was required to give myself lovenox shots every day for two weeks after being discharged to avoid blood clots. Just curious, did you ladies not receive a like medication, or did you develop clots despite the medicine? I certainly feel for you all!
Lindsey Skinner Abbott 97 Posted June 7, 2016 No the only gave them to me during my hospital stay. Did you give them to yourself in the stomach?
macdonaldkelly 33 Posted June 7, 2016 No the only gave them to me during my hospital stay. Did you give them to yourself in the stomach?Yes, I received a prescription for 14 prefilled syringes and had to give myself a shot in the stomach once a day. Not enjoyable, but after listening to your stories, I'm quite happy I did!
ChooChi73 59 Posted June 7, 2016 @"lindsey skinner abbott" and @"yescres07" so sorry you two have had to go through this. Did your surgeon put you on any blood thinners. I was taking Coumadin for 2 1/2 weeks post op. one step at a time, one sip at a time, one pound at a time.

Still giving myself injections.
