I know exactly how hard that is! Hang in there I am 3 weeks off now, will be 4 on Friday and today is first day that I almost don't have nausea and was able to eat. It will get better, that I see now... I honestly didn't think it would...
LoveMyBypass 251 Posted June 6, 2016 How many oz is everyone eating per meal at this point? one step at a time, one sip at a time, one pound at a time. liquid foods I'm having 4 ounces (thick soups). pureed foods, I'm having 2-3 ounces. If I have more than that, I feel sick. Not sick like dumping syndrome, but I feel sick like uncomfortable. It's hard to explain it. I don't know if that is what "full" feels like, but I am labeling it as I'm full. So I stop.
LoveMyBypass 251 Posted June 6, 2016 I had a hard time today... I think I have been very strong since surgery. I came to visit my mother and she was making pork ribs with rice (her famous rice). I admit I wanted to eat so bad but ONLY out of fear of getting sick, I didn't. That isn't what bothered me. What bothered me was the thought of when it would be okay to eat rice with pork ribs. I know it's not okay now, but will I ever be able to eat pork? What about white rice? The rice I grew up with??! These thoughts kept getting longer and longer until I finally started crying. Sushi? Taquitos? I didn't think I'd miss food like this. I love pop corn. I love eating it with flamin' hot cheetos. When will I be able to enjoy that again? Sigh. Finally doubt set in.. Did I make the right choice? I'm just having a rant... it's hard because the pureed food I'm eating now, I eat it so slow that I don't even enjoy it. Tiny little bites and I can't even taste. I feel so robbed. I know it's for my health and when I step on the scale, it's worth it but I still feel sad sometimes.

summerset 5,265 Posted June 6, 2016 Somehow it's bothering me that I can eat and drink amounts that literally feel like a lot compared to what I thought would be possible. I'm a bit anxious about what eating will be like in a few weeks and months from now...

yescres07 91 Posted June 7, 2016 Does anyone have a achy feeling inside their stomach? I think that comes from when your incision starts to heal and I felt that way if I did too much activity or stretching around, also if my undies were too tight Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
