3 PB's Today!

I am little concerned tonight as I have PB'd 3 times today and have not been able to keep any food down, liquids fine. I haven't had quite that many in one day. I think it my band area may be swollen and will just take a day or so to recover. I was banded 8 months ago - Of course my worst fear is slippage! Any thoughts would be appreciated - thanks so much, Kim

I haven't PB'd, yet, but from what I understand, it can/may cause some swelling, causing more PBing...and the cycle goes on. I think you should just stick to liquids for a couple days and see if there's any improvement. If there is swelling, you'll give it a chance to go down and then you may be okay.

Exactly.

My doc says nothing by mouth for six hours after PBing, then finish the day with liquids. No solids for the rest of the day after PBing due to swelling caused by the PBing.
