erik78 79 Posted May 14, 2016 Today marks 30 days post up. Here are some of my observations GOOD- lost 33 pounds since the surgery. I did not have a pre op diet. Recovery went great. I've been eating solid food since day 13. I am eating 3-4 oz of Protein per meal, fish is easiest, chicken takes a while to eat. Never had nausea, no vomiting. A lot of energy when I wake up in the morning. I get 70-80 oz of Water a day. Got clearance this week for light weight lifting, and anything cardio, including playing basketball( no swimming yet). Fat clothes are way too big now, I've moved on to the skinnier clothes I bought last year when I thought I was going to lose the weight. Surgeon said I don't have to see him for 2 months. Bad- Vitamins have been tough. If there is an awesome tasting multi, please share with me. Mine are just awful. I'm getting better though at taking them. 2 of my incisions are giving me a hard time. Got a bit swollen and slightly infected. A little drainage. Better this week though. I have to learn how to chew my food better. I sometimes forget that I can't take massive bites and I payed for it with immediate pain. I have also forgotten not to drink with eating. Big mistake because you get filled up with one bite.
