Cathy48 57 Posted May 12, 2016 This is my greatest wish to lose a goodly proportion of my bust. Currently I'm a 42G and I so long for something a lot lot less as they've been the bane of my life for many years. Surgery is on Monday for me so let's up there are some new and lovely bras around the corner.
2goldengirl 2,076 Posted May 12, 2016 This is my greatest wish to lose a goodly proportion of my bust. Currently I'm a 42G and I so long for something a lot lot less as they've been the bane of my life for many years. Surgery is on Monday for me so let's up there are some new and lovely bras around the corner. Yup, I was a 42G overflowing. I've lost pre/post op more than 35# and with my losses, my bras now fit. I'm on the tightest hook on them, though, and it won't be long before I need a smaller cup and band size. The smallest I've ever been as an adult was a 34D in my 20's. kaitlynm 335 Posted May 12, 2016 I've gone from a 52DD to a 42D. I don't think the cup size will decrease much from here on out. I've lost 100 pounds, but still have 40 to go. I was a C in 8th grade. I would love to be a B cup. If I get to the surgery point I will get a reduction, and most importantly put back where they belong.
hazelzay 75 Posted May 12, 2016 Thanks for all the replies. I really hope my cup size gets smaller because because a 36 G-H is so annoying lol .
ssflbelle 829 Posted May 12, 2016 84 I to 54 G 497 to 269. Praying both breasts and weight continue to shrink even more. I can't stand the pain of being so big.
FocusOnMeNow 599 Posted May 12, 2016 I have lost 91 lbs and you will NOT believe this BUT the only size that has not changed is my bra size! They are definitely a bit less robust but for the life of me I cannot wear either a smaller band (and still breathe) or a smaller cup without "spillage". What I have had to do though is buy newer bras in the same size because the elastic had kind of stretched out in the old bras. BUT from you tube videos (check out Clusie and Kstar) most people do eventually go down in size and it may just be matter of time for me[emoji4]
Sparkles!! 77 Posted May 12, 2016 Personally, this is one of the things I am most worried about. I'm a 46G and I actually like being busty. The only thing that comforts me is that most people I know (including my mother and sisters) have always said and experienced that the chest is the first thing to go when you start losing weight - but I never did during past weight losses. I would always lose through the back, but not much in the cup. However, I have no doubt that the upcoming surgery (July) will be a game-changer, so I guess we'll see what happens I wouldn't mind going down a bit, but mostly I just want to look proportionate. I'm open to the idea of plastics later, if needed... I just would really rather not!
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted May 12, 2016 Personally, this is one of the things I am most worried about. I'm a 46G and I actually like being busty. Victoria's Secret can help you with that no matter what your end size.
jane13 2,256 Posted May 12, 2016 Being I have had to wear a bra since I was 9 I totally get where some of the ladies with a 42G or in my case 42M bra are coming from. I am 53, and down 90+ lbs since surgery 5/6/15, I NOW wear a 38G and its full. When I take the bra off: UUI am glad to be able to wear a normal size shirt because the BOOBS are not dictating the size, as muchI lose the weight in my waist first, for some reason, so I have been at least lucky with that. Of course the deflated 'muffin top' thing sucks too
hazelzay 75 Posted May 12, 2016 I literally spend like $70-90 on bra's at Nordstrom because I can't really go anywhere else .
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted May 12, 2016 I went from 44D to 38B. My shoe size went from 9 Wide to 8 1/2 narrow. My ring size went from 9 to 7. My socks went from diabetic roomy ones to regular ladies socks.
MrsSugarbabe 727 Posted May 12, 2016 I lost more inches around than cup size. Pre-surgery wore a 44D, now wearing 42C. The D cup was more to accommodate the fat under my arms than about breast size. Never was perky; surely aren't now (especially at my age).
Sparkles!! 77 Posted May 12, 2016 LOL... @@MrsSugarbabe, Perky?? I've hear of the concept, but never experienced it either :-)
wheezysmom 146 Posted May 12, 2016 These bad boys are sitting on my lap. I went from a 44F or G to a VS 36C. If I dare step out of the house without a bra I will most likely be captured, tagged, and released back into the wild.
Daisee68 2,493 Posted May 13, 2016 Well, I think I must have been wearing the wrong size pre-op because I was a 46C but now that the band size has gone down, the cup size has gone up. The girls have definitely gotten smaller and longer, and I have to "stuff" the bra to try and fill in the gapping / loss of volume at the top but going down in cup size (or even different types of bras) does not work. I am now in a 36DD.
