Photo925 100 Posted May 11, 2016 I've scheduled my sleeve to MGB revision for next month and am trying to gather as much info concerning post op nutrition and the stages as I can, but notice that there is not quite as much info about MGB out there. Is the closest reference the standard bypass? I know my doctor and nutritionist will give me tons of info, but I can't help it and overly research as I wait for my surgery date. I just want to make sure I have everything I need at my house before I leave for surgery. Thanks for any info you can provide

SUNNYNYC 11 Posted May 12, 2016 I had lapband to MGB revision in late 2014. It is the best thing you can do, much better than the classic bypass. I am at my ideal weight and lost 112lbs in 16 months.
bikerchick519 202 Posted May 15, 2016 I had the sleeve to mini bypass revision on March 31, 2016. The recovery was a breeze with the sleeve but a little more difficult with the mgb. It still was not bad and totally worth it. It got rid of my acid reflux and even though I'm losing weight slowly, that was expected (I was 199 before the revision). I'm getting measured and body scanned every two weeks and I'm losing inches and gaining muscle so I'm not too worried about what the scale says. I wish I had gone with the mgb or bypass in the first place.
utahgirll 81 Posted June 7, 2016 For lots of information, have a look at Dr. Rutledge's videos on YouTube. It seems every question you could ever have about the MGB is answered there. He is the founder of the MGB. there are also some 3 or 4 Facebook groups for mini Gastric bypass, and they are very helpful.
Band07 374 Posted June 7, 2016 I revised from sleeve to MGB last April with Dr. Rodriguez. Very happy with my decision and willing to answer questions if you have any.
