Hi everyone hope you are all in good health.

This made me laugh so hard today I wanted to share it with you all.

I was sitting on the toilet today and noticed my thighs were not completely hugging over the toilet seat, lol I couldn't stop laughing I was so happy to see how much inches I have lost.

Share your funniest NSV if you can would love to read them..

Thxs

To be honest with you, I have no idea what you're talking about...

But, as you seem so pleased, I can't help but be pleased for you...

With that in mind -

I don't know if it is funny or not, but I love that my boobs don't try to strangle me when I lay down at night anymore. no more sleeping with two pillows to elevate my head!

sometimes it is those little everyday victories that mean so much to us!

Going to grandsons ball game and not worrying if the fold-up chair is going to collapse is a big one for me.

YES! that was always a fear of mine, so I would sit on the edge of the seat frame until I knew how the chair would do if it was a folding chair.

That is awesome!!! Mine, being able to balance myself in high heels without feeling like I am going to tip over.

I'm with you on the heels! I slipped on a pair of 4" stilettos the other day and was able to walk around comfortably. Haven't been able to do that in nearly a decade.

Oh how I've missed pretty shoes...

Good for you. I have never tried 4" heels in my life. When I was coming up you could only find heels that high via the Fredericks of Hollywood catalog lol. But I am able to get back into my 2 inchers which is a MAJOR improvement for me.

Yes! My #1 goal is to be able to walk in heels I am 5'10 so they can't be that high but just be able to walk in comfort.

My first NSV was being able to cross my legs but the funniest, also a toilet NSV, was about 30lbs in and I looked down and could see my girl parts without having to move my stomach. I literally laughed which had my husband questioning if I was ok.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
