I was just told today by Aetna that my surgeon and affiliated hospital aren't one of their preferred IOQ facilities, even though they're in network. Otherwise I would've been approved. Apparently there's extra requirements for bariatric surgery under my plan. Smh So my appt with new surgeon is set for May 20th. Hope I get a little energy back I have a lots of things to get ready before Thursday. I haven't been to nervous yet but I am sure that will come. I won't stress you out with the details. Just know that you will probably have some hiccups along this journey. I thought once I was done fighting with insurance things would get easier. It hasn't.
