crystalloveball 9 Posted May 10, 2016 On my pre-op diet, I survived on sugar-free popscicles. (I've always loved popscicles). For post-op, I bought a snow cone maker. I figured it would be much cheaper than buying so many popscicles regularly--with it, all I need is ice. I ordered sugar free Syrup with it, but I won't do that anymore (it's too expensive); after that is gone I will use the bottles with a mix of Crystal Light. I'm 10-days post-sleeve, and the snow cone machine has been a great investment. It makes me feel like I'm eating solid food, but what it really does is hydrate me. I eat a lot of my Water in the form of snow cones. I even like them flavorless. I'm a texture-eater, so a liquid diet sucks. it's not fulfilling to me. KindaFamiliar 3,867 Posted May 10, 2016 Great idea @@crystalloveball I chewed ice when I was at that stage... I found it was a GREAT help with the head hunger and tricking the body into thinking it had eaten... I hope others find this and do the same...
