Of course the newest research shows that that's not always the simple story for people who've been obese, but still I just go back to measuring and writing down every damn thing that crosses my lips. I hate it, it's a drag, but I make myself do it, something I was never able to do when I was really obese. But yeah, back to basics: minimum 80 oz of Water or clear (ish) liquids a day, and then minimum 45 minutes a day of cardio that gets the heart rate up to around 120 beats per minute minimum. kaitlynm 335 Posted May 10, 2016 How are you doing on Protein? I make sure that 50% of my calories come from protein and that helps. I'm loosing pretty slowly at 7 mos out, but I'm still loosing and not gaining. I also get in at least 60 minutes of cardio per day and most days more.
