Heating pad after surgery?

I am 3 days post op and am wondering if I can use a heating pad on my stomach to help with the pains? I can't reach my doctor. I don't want to mess up the incision site. Thanks!

Yes - just don't place directly on bare skin.

The heating pad was my best friend!! I used it for a good month or so post op. Helped with gas pains and just regular healing discomfort. Hope you feel better soon!!!
