cat.jackson89 206 Posted May 9, 2016 I'm down 40 pounds. Still having pain in my right side- especially when I have to bend over. I'm nervous about going back to work next week with this pain. I transport patients within two hospitals,& I also perform ekgs. I'm not sure how bending and pushing, pulling, etc is going to work for me.

If you're concerned about your abilities to do your job, definitely bring it up to your surgeon. You don't want to hurt yourself! At three weeks out, I didn't really have any pain, just some mild discomfort. Be careful and good luck!
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted May 9, 2016 Definitely talk to your surgeon. You may need more time off and/or modified duties when you do return to work.
